When I originated this site
in August, 2006, the idea of building Clint Eastwood pages hadn't entered my
mind. In May of this year, my interest in genealogy was rekindled when there
was a request for me to have my DNA tested. During the 6-8 week wait for test
results, I immersed myself in genealogy, Eastwood Family History (and consequently,
American History, as well as England, and so much more). When my DNA results
finally arrived, they conclusively showed that Clint's and my lineage (previously
validated back to Lewis Eastwood {5th generation Eastwood in America} goes directly
to the first generation, Richard Eastwood, who in 1642, sailed from England to
Jamestown, the first English Colony established in America.
When I posted this new information,
an Eastwood Family Tree, and many ancestral stories, I couldn't help but become more interested in my
famed cousin's life
and career. I began to build some Clint Family pages, then some Clint Photo pages,
Clint Genealogy pages, Clint Movie pages, and after 30 some pages without any
Clint Biography, or Career pages, I realized that I'd have to build a
totally separate, individual
CLINT EASTWOOD site.

The first
30
EASTWOOD/CLINT pages that preceded the construction of the separate CLINT site
are included under
the "CLINT EASTWOOD" heading
below. Check out some
original facts, rare stories, new trivia, ancestral info, and more.

to reach the new
inclusive CLINT EASTWOOD site to find his Biography, Films, Music, Directing
Career, Relatives (Family & Children-Kyle & Alison), Former Mates & their children, plus another
80+ pages in the works.
* AUTHOR'S
NOTE:
The "Career Overview" page, alone,
features over 50 great,
unique, good sized Clint Eastwood images, culled from hundreds of sources
(and untold hours of research) in an attempt to coincide with periods of
Clint's long, and illustrious, career. Consequently, many pages might take a
while to load, especially for older computers with dial-up connections. I
felt the trade-off of "load time vs. web quality" was the way to go and have
kept thumbnails and videos to a minimum. For viewers with DSL and hot-shot
computers, the site will load as fast as your email homepages.
